MaxSign

Privacy

MaxSign is used when an organisation asks a named person to review and sign documents. This notice describes what that signing page collects.

What we receive

The organisation that creates the request provides your name, surname, email address, cell number, and the documents to be signed. MaxSign shows those details back to you so you can confirm they are yours before you sign.

What we record when you sign

  • That you confirmed you had read the documents and agreed to sign them.
  • The date and time of the signature.
  • The IP address and browser used to sign.
  • A SHA-256 fingerprint of each original file, and a fingerprint of the signed copy.
  • The signed documents, including a signature record added to PDF files.

Who receives it

The signed documents and the signing record are sent to the organisation that requested your signature. MaxSign does not sell this information, and it does not use it to send marketing messages.

Questions

The organisation named on your signing page is the one that asked you to sign. Contact them if you did not expect the message, or if you want to ask about the documents they hold. You can also read the terms.
