MaxSign
Terms
These terms cover the signing page you open from a MaxSign link.
The link is personal
A signing link is created for one named person. Do not forward it. If the name, email, or cell number on the page is not yours, stop and contact the organisation that sent the message.
What you confirm
Before you can sign, you confirm: “I have read and agree to sign all the above documents digitally.” MaxSign records that confirmation, the time, and a fingerprint of each original file. PDF documents also receive a signature record page.
Read the documents first
The documents are provided by the organisation that requested your signature. Download and read them on the signing page. MaxSign does not change their contents, other than to record your signature where the document asks for it and to append the signature record.
Messages
MaxSign messages are sent so you can open a document and sign it. They are not marketing. A genuine link uses https://sign.maxlaw.co.za/sign/. MaxSign will not ask you for a banking password or a one-time pin. See the privacy notice for what is stored.
